No, at Root Us On there is no cost to start a fundraiser or host your team page. Our service fees only apply to donations. We have a straightforward approach with no minimum participation requirements and no tiered pricing. The minimum fundraiser individual donation is $10.
We suggest $200 – $300 per player as a good starting point for your fundraiser goal. Your fundraiser goal will automatically increase as you reach it to keep your Super Fans invested right up to the end.
Your players will invite their family and friends to become Super Fans directly from their player account. There is no limit on how many they can invite but we recommend 10 – 20 Super Fans per player.
It is the payment Root Us On will send at the end of your fundraiser. You will receive a Funds Distribution statement that clearly outlines the total funds raised, your payment processing charges as well as our service fee. You can receive this payment via Direct Deposit or by check in the mail. The payment will be processed within 10 days of your fundraiser ending. For more information click here
Root Us On will send you a report, with your Funds Distribution statement, at the end of your fundraiser that shows the donation gross total raised for each player.
Root Us On utilizes Stripe to process online payments. The payment processing fees are collected directly by Stripe and their rate is 2.9% + .30 per transaction. These payment processing fees cover credit and debit card transaction fees. For more information click here

No, RUO will generate reminder emails at the halfway point and a few days before your fundraiser ends. A thank you email is also sent to all your Super Fans nearing the end of your fundraiser.

Root Us On will provide a standard player bio and a stock photo for your player page. We do highly recommend you personalize your page so your Super Fans know it’s you when they visit to donate.
